Facelift
Procedures offered at our clinic in Spokane: facelift, deep plane facelift,….
For over 100 years, traditional facelifts have been completed to fight the signs of aging. However, advances in cosmetic surgery have created new opportunities for people who want to regain a youthful look with minimal downtime. One option available in Spokane, the liquid facelift, can provide big changes to the face without surgery.
A liquid facelift utilizes several injectable fillers to eliminate fine lines, sagging, and wrinkles. Rather than making incisions and removing skin like a traditional facelift, filler is inserted into the skin to combat lost volume.
Many types of injectables can be used with one another to remedy different areas of the face. Some of the most common include Juvéderm, Restylane, and Sculptra. These fillers add structure and volume that helps to lift the face and give you a younger appearance.
Juvéderm and Restylane both utilize hyaluronic acid, which is created naturally in the body. It is used to insulate and lubricate the tissue under the skin. These fillers are used to increase the amount of hyaluronic acid in the skin to create a rejuvenated appearance.
Radiesse uses microscopic spheres of calcium hydroxyapatite included in a water-based gel. This fills in lines, folds, and wrinkles. Once it dissolves, it makes the skin grow new tissue and create additional collagen. It is absorbed into the body as time passes.
Sculptra works to create new collagen growth in aging skin which naturally makes less of it over time. Sculptra is very effective to fill deep depressions in the face. This filler is used over several treatments to restore facial volume. And it’s often used with fillers like Juvéderm to create quick results.
There are several reasons to choose a liquid facelift instead of traditional surgery. The first is that it is essentially painless and typically takes less than 60 minutes to complete. A topical anesthetic is used to help treat any discomfort while the fillers are injected. Numbing medication is also included in the actual fillers.
In addition, liquid facelifts typically have very few side effects. There might be bruising and swelling at the injection site, but scarring is very rare. This gives you essentially no downtime and the benefit of immediate results.
Finally, liquid facelifts can offer lasting results of up to one or two years. However, the treatments aren’t permanent if you decide you want to go in another direction with your appearance as many of these products can be easily removed.
