Kayla McCargar, R.N.

Kayla has worked in the surgery setting the entirety of her nursing career, totaling 9 years. The majority of these years were spent at Columbia Surgical Specialists in Spokane with Dr. Sand. Over the years she has developed a love for facial plastic surgery and all aspects of the patient experience to help them look and feel their best. She joined the team at Sand Plastic Surgery May of 2023, just before the new surgery center was up and operating.

Kayla was born and raised in Colfax, Washington. She attended Whitworth University, where she played for the Whitworth Women’s Basketball team, met her husband, and received her Bachelor of Science. Kayla went on to complete a dual Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Whitworth University and Washington State University. Kayla and her husband have 3 young kiddos and enjoy spending time with family and friends,  adventuring outdoors, and making delicious meals.
