Ultimate Guide to Enzyme Therapy for Radiant Skin

So enzyme therapy is true oxygenation therapy. It is one of the best treatments and things you can do for your skin for overall health of your skin. So think of your skin as a factory. If it’s not working well and the wheels are not moving well, enzyme therapy comes in and puts the skin into homeostasis and makes the wheels running smoothly.

Any skin conditions that you have concerns about, it helps it. repair those and helps your skin be happy and healthy.

How does Enzyme Therapy work?

So how it works is it goes on the skin. It tightens the skin. It brings all the blood and oxygen to the surface of the skin, kickstarting the lymph system, draining out toxins out of the body, leaving you with glowing, beautiful skin.

Who is an ideal candidate for Enzyme Therapy?

Everyone is an ideal candidate for enzyme therapy. It is safe for everybody. It is great for all skin types and it’s one of the best things you can do for your skin.

What are the benefits of Enzyme Therapy?

Primary benefits of enzyme therapy is overall texture and look of the skin. You’re going to have a brighter, more luminous look to your skin. It’s going to be a lot smoother, clearer.

How is the Enzyme Therapy treatment performed?

The way it’s performed is I’ll cleanse, double cleanse, we exfoliate, and depending on what your skin concerns are, I will pick which exfoliant is best for you. And then we apply the enzyme therapy mask.

It actually sits on the skin for 45 minutes and it takes the full 45 minutes for all the blood and oxygen to come to the surface. The mask hardens. And then after your 45 minutes is done, I will remove it and I will put on the aftercare products.

What can patients expect during the recovery process?

The awesome thing about enzyme therapy is there’s no downtime. Zero downtime. You may have a little bit of redness 15 to 30 minutes post treatment, but that’s awesome.

It’s called the plasmatic effect, and that’s all the capillaries being dilated in the skin, so you get a little bit of redness. You may visually see the capillaries, which I think is actually really awesome and cool, but once you stand up, gravity takes over. The redness goes away in about 30, 15 to 30 minutes.

How many treatments are recommended?

If you are really trying to correct something, acne, hyperpigmentation, rosacea, DMK recommends that you get three treatments within 45 days to really jumpstart getting that skin happy and getting it back into homeostasis. If you are just trying to maintain your skin’s already healthy, you’re not concerned about anything, then once a month is ideal treatment.
