Deep Plane Facelift & Neck Lift: Mid-Surgery

I want to talk here a little bit about a surgical patient that we have that’s being seen here mid -surgery. This is a patient who’s undergone both a facelift and neck lift what we like to call the sand lift here at Sand Plastic Surgery.

It’s a deep plane facelift and deep neck lift.

And this is a picture that I took in the middle of the procedure. I think it just speaks to the power of these operations. So you can see in the top photo where the patient is in a preoperative state, you can see that their neckline and jawline are obscured by excess skin fat muscle that aren’t allowing for a crisp jawline.

And you can see immediately following the procedure, the little sutures around the ear where we carefully hide those incisions and you can see the dramatic improvement in the jawline there.

You can see how the jawline is now crisp there’s a lot of definition of the cervical mental angle which is the spacing between the jaw and the neck there. That’s tucked up very nicely to provide her with a really great projectionAnd so even as we’re doing these procedures, you can see the results are essentially immediate, the next day when we take the bandages off immediately, the jawline is crisp, sharp and beautiful and natural, which is what we do here in sand plastic surgery.
